Possibly normal: The worst case is a tubal pregnancy or miscarriage, so if you have not confirmed that the pregnancy is in the uterus with an ultrasound exam you should do so. More usual and quite normal are simple growing pains or an ovarian cyst. A corpus luteum cyst supports the early pregnancy until the placenta develops, and will go away when it is no longer needed.
