A member asked:

My 10 year old cannot sleep after moving into her own room and refuses to sleep alone since her finger accident, is this normal? what do i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs work : I would look into having the kid work with a child behavior specialist. This is phobic behavior & will likely take a skill set that most of us are never learn in life. Luckily there those who study this area & enjoy working with kids as they face these issues. They explore the origins of their fears & provide ways to get past them. Your doc may know someone locally that can help.
