Hi the other day i went to donate blood and they said i cannot donate blood as my iron count is high 18.4 is this anything to worry about.

Blood count : I think there was a concern for high hemoglobin. At 18.4 that is high normally depending on the lab, the valve is between 13 to 17 for men and lower for women. So at that level, you should be seen by a doctor in person. There are several possible concerns for respiratory issues, blood production issues, iron metabolism problems, abnormalities of hormones, or use of testosterone
