Hemochromatosis: Hemachromatosis causes accumulation of iron in the body causing multi oran problems. In addition to a comprehensive blood test you should check ferritin, iron and transferrin saturation levels. (www.Chrisohmd.Com).

Multiple forms: There are multiple tests for blood iron level. e.g. Serum iron, Transferrin saturation, Serum ferritin, even hemoglobin is an indicator. It would have helped had you provided the actual result. Any inflammation can raise serum ferritin.
