Mri done in 2012 ,my mri showed that i have mild disc narrowing at the l5 and s1and also degenerative facet changes noted at the l3 and l4 level ,my new doc wants a new mri done,will the new mri show more-degenerative changes and more disc narrowing?

Changes: The natural history of wear and tear degenerative changes is that they increase with age. Disc narrowing may not progress. I wonder if symptoms have worsened and whether they're from osteoarthritic changes in the spine or from disc pressure on nerve roots. A neurologist or neurosurgeon would advise you best.
