A member asked:

When in a parked car (such as at gas pump or parking lot) and the car next to you begins to move, it briefly feels like you're moving even though you're stationary. what is the scientific explanation for that? does it indicate vestibular problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vestibular issue : question 4. This is a normal occurrence, your brain takes clues of movement and interpreted it wrong. Please contact your primary care doctor and ask about your concerns and questions with the vestibular system
