I had a chest xray a few days ago and the xray tech noted "minimal scarring on left lung base". my doctor is not concerned, but i can't help but worry. i am a former smoker and have vaped in the past. is scarring common?

Basics: I would place little faith in the random comments of an x-ray tech who could loose their job/certification for offering diagnoses or findings. They are trained to provide the best technically proper study although some want to "help".The doctor that reviewed the film for the final report did not find it worth commenting & I would leave it at that.
