I want to know the difference of mechanisms in this drugs: aripiprazole 15 mg, and quetiapine 5 mg (1/2 of pill). i have a bipolar disorder.

Close but not cigar: Independently of their dosages, they are both atypical antipsychotics. They share similar properties as antipsychotics and mood stabilizers . What's different is their side effect profile, life time, tolerance, etc.. Seriquel is more edating and increases appetite. Abilify (aripiprazole) can be more activating, less weight gain .
