Hello , my father underwent throught a pet scan. its written " non fdg avid, fibro-parenchymal scarring with traction dilatation of bronchi is seen involving apical segment of right upper lobe lung,-- old insult." what does it mean ?

Not too much: He seems to have some old scarring in the top portion of his right upper lung lobe-some increased size of the breathing tube as a result in that area, -Not something likely to get worse, has been there a long time, unclear if there is any clinical(today /current ) effect on any function.
