For four months now, im getting chronic lowe right side cramps in my stomach. have gotten tests literally all the time, all come back normal. docs say ibs. i have mucus in my stool when i have diarrhea and usually it goes back to normal.what is this?

IBS: Irritable bowel involves alteration in gut motitility, gut sensation, perception of intestinal activity. Risk factors include the following: age less than 45, female and family history. IBS triggers include carbonated drinks, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate and fried foods. The mucus is because times your bowel motility speeds up and mucus instead of formed stool is evacuated.
