A member asked:

Been to docs and ct, x-ray and blood tests are normal. i felt cramp free for a week, but now been having on and off right side cramps for a week, constantly passing little pebble stools after a large bm in morning. doc says ibs. what else?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Right side: Persistent right lower abdominal distress, especially with associated tenderness, always raises the possibility of appendicitis which would indicate a repeat examination. Other possibilities include right pelvis pathology, right sided diverticulitis or Crohn's disease. An evaluation by an abdominal surgeon or gastroenterologist would be advisable in view of continuing symptoms.
