My son was sick this week starting tues morning his fever broke last night. tuesday he had 3 doses of advil, wednesday two of tylenol & 2 advil, yesterday 1 of advil so 8 over three days. is there a way this is too much and could cause brain damage?

Should be safe: Unless given in toxic doses, these medications are safe, taken as directed. You don’t give your son’s age, but correct for age doses are fine. If he has allergies to the medicine, it should not be given.
