A member asked:

If a cervical canal is between 10mm and 13mm without actual compression of the cord, but reduced space. would this normally cause symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Typically, no.: If there is space around the cord, there should be room for the CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) to get by. If the nerve root is pinched, this could be problematic, however. Head or neck Position changes could also be a problem for you. Discuss your symptoms with your doc to get an accurate diagnosis of the problem.
