Hi, moderate spinal canal stenosis secondary to disc uncinate hypertrophy with possible mild impingement on the ventral thecal sac at c4 c5 and c5 c6 intact cervical cord signal. no evidence of cord compression what does it mean?

It means that a bone (in your neck) is pressing on your spinal cord, causing either local pain, pain down your arm(s) or leg(s) or weakness of your arm(s) or leg(s). Need to fully discuss with your back surgeon to determine what to do next. Usually depends on severity of pressure on your spinal cord, how fast symptoms are progressing and severity of symptoms

Based upon your description, there appears to be no spinal cord damage, or nerve root compression, but you do describe cervical stenosis which may represent a congenital condition being worsened by discogenic dysfunction. Hard to advise further evaluation and therapeutic intervention based only upon your limited description, so, discuss at length with the physician who ordered the testing.
