Needs immediate eval: Severe abdominal pain needs to be evaluated promptly as there are many abdominal emergencies that have to be recognized early. If it turns out to be treatable as outpatient at least you will have a clear diagnosis and plan. Pleas proceed to one of the local urgent care centers and let your doc know for further guidance.
