Ive had terrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea. the diarrhoea is under control because if the medication i got but the cramps keep on coming back and theyre unbearable. my lower abdomen even hurts ?

Your symptoms are suggestive of infectious gastroenteritis, still contained in lumen as you do not have systemic symptoms . Common causes are Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia,, Campylobacter. Amebiasis and giardiasis can also cause cramping and diarrhea. Please see your doctor for diagnosis/ empirical treatment. Hope it helps.
