Hello, i have been taking tecta for 7 days for gerd without any improvement for now. however, pepcid and tums are really helpful and sharply reduces the heartburn. is there anything to be worried about regarding tecta not working?

Tecta: Tecta should start working within 2-3 days but usually we give a drug 2 weeks. It is metabolized in the liver and sometimes fast metabolizers may get less effect. If no effect in another 7 days discuss with your doctor. w.nhs.uk/medicines/pantoprazole/

Can a Gerd flare up last for a few days in a row? I've had all the symptoms of Gerd for about 2 weeks now even after taking Pepcid Complete and was wondering if Gerd can still persist like that.... all I drink is soda though, so that may be it?
