Can a gerd flare up last for a few days in a row? i've had all the symptoms of gerd for about 2 weeks now even after taking pepcid complete and was wondering if gerd can still persist like that.... all i drink is soda though, so that may be it?

STOP THE SODA: I would think the possible culprit is what you have identified already as excessive consumption of carbonated drinks. I would suggest that you stop these as there is no nutritional value to this and all types of problems. This would be a good first step.
