The opposite: It may be that your palpitations are related to your anxiety. Would suggest reducing caffeine, pop, energy drinks during the day, if applicable. Seeing a psychologist should help at least on the anxiety side and hopefully with the frequency of your palpitations that are likely looping back and causing more anxiety.
