Hello . i had labs during a sinus infection so my levels were little off. should my lab levels such as lymphocytes etc go back to normal after infection is gone? they want to retest it in 4 to 6 weeks. thanks

Should get better.: If the cause of the elevated lymphocytes was the sinus infection, treating the sinus infection (if bacterial) or after it resolves w/time (if viral) the lymphocyte count will decrease. any infection can cause a temporary increase in the lymphocytes, which is a good thing, since these cells fight infections. If the counts remain high, the infection may not be completely better or other causes exist
