A member asked:

Lab results: wbc 5.62, rbc 4.42, hemoglobin 12.2, neutrophil 47.7, lymphocyte 43.6. dr requested labs due to bruises all over both legs. since lab, more bruises (haven't hit them) /mouth sores/swollen neck glands. no current infections. thoughts?

The labs cited in your post are within the range of normal and do not point to any cause of the bruising. Other findings like the platelet count, and test of the clotting pathway would be more helpful. Discuss the lab with your doc.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the results you provided do not explain the bruising and you may need to consult a hematologist. Wish you good health!
