A member asked:

If i had both fallopian tubes removed (bilateral salpingectomy) what are the chances of getting pregnant i read a lady got pregnant with this procedure done . should i worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No worries: If there are no tubes, and the uterus has only one opening... into the vagina... then there is no way for the egg to get into the uterus where sperm might be. So, there is no way to conceive naturally. That said, life can surprise you sometimes. Thus, if having symptoms of pregnancy, one can just do a home urine pregnancy test 3 weeks sex. Tests are very accurate by then.
