How long should one wait to get pregnant after going through laparoscopic salpingectomy procedure?

1 or 2 normal cycles: If your scalpingectomy was performed for an ectopic pregnancy, it may take you 1 to 3 months to resume normal ovulation and normal menstruation. Once you are ovulating normally, you do not need to wait to get pregnant, unless you have other health issues to get under control.
