Maybe not, but...: One aspect of his life, just the breathing rate, doesn't tell the whole story. Thus, if the baby is happily eating and happily sleeping, plus is alert when awake, and has no risk factors for infection, and looks normal in color, peeing, and pooping... he might be just fine. A call to the pediatrician is wise, so the doctor can know what is happening and decide whether an in-person exam is needed.
