A member asked:

Can eating 7-10 almonds after each meal as a substitute of tums be a good practice for someone with acid reflux to neutralize excess stomach acid?

NO: But I suggest you may find some "support" for this kind of "alternative" medicine. The idea is that if you fill your stomach with "neutralizing" (non-acidic) food ..the stomach will "work on" that and not your stomach or your lower esophagus eg "heartburn" MILK would work a lot better in this "role" BTW too many "TUMS" are not healthy either Ask your Medical Provider about using an H-2 blocker
