Stage 2 hypertension: 141/92 is stage 2 hypertension, so the doctor will likely consider medications, but each patient is looked at individually. The categories are: Elevated Blood Pressure: systolic between 120-129 AND diastolic less than 80; Stage 1 hypertension: systolic between 130-139, OR diastolic between 80-89; Stage 2: systolic at least 140, OR diastolic at least 90 mmHg.

I suffer from high diastolic pressure which fluctuates between 90 and 99 mmHg. While my systolic is usually between 110-130mmHg. Moreover, my heart will beat 80-95 times per minute. Can I take felodipine and metoprolol succinate together for this?
