What does it mean when you have a cardiac catheterization and the result says that the the ejection fraction was 70%. the left ventricular end-diastolic pressure was mildly elevated at 17 mmhg. there was no gradient or lval pullback and no mitral regurt

Your fine: It means you have a strong heart and your mitral and aortic valves are fine too.

See below: The ejection fraction is the percentage of blood in the heart at rest which is ejected with the following heartbeat. The end-diastolic pressure is the filling pressure in the heart just prior to contraction. The aortic valve separates the left ventricle from the aorta. If the valve is functioning normally, there should be no gradient.
