Sooner is better: Everybody is unique. A woman in her 60's with blood in her urine may have a bladder infection. That's a common illness. However, we don't want her to have a kidney infection, which usually has other symptoms such as fever and flank pain. A woman on blood thinners or with other medical issues like kidney disease can have other causes for urine blood. Maybe calling the doctor will help.
