A member asked:

Onset of symptoms came 5 days after having a new crown fitted to a broken tooth, have since been back to the dentist but he could not find anything wrong and suspected that it was due to the new tooth being fitted to high, such was then corrected.

Dr. can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies, irritants, or acid reflux. In this case, the sore throat may or may not be related to the dental visit. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly.

Great !: Glad to hear that a simple bite adjustment was all that was needed.
