Good day, i have diagnosed gout since 2012. most episodes last a couple of days with medication. last month i've experienced gout pain that is not going away. with medication the pain disappears for perhaps a week then comes back.

Gout: Gout is caused by the overproduction of mono-sodium urate which is the crystal that forms gout. Disorders associated which cause gout are G6PD deficiency, hemolytic disease, renal disorder, medications like diuretics or toxins, lactic acid. Modifiable risk factors include obesity, alcoholism, hypertension. Allopurinol or Zyloprim common medication for prevention.
