Many things possible: Many things are possible in life, and there are no guarantees in life except "death and taxes." So, yes, there is always a chance of infection whenever one gets poked with a needle... but with proper procedures, that chance is zero (mathematically rounded, of course). And, yes, the blood could be from you... merely because anything could have happened (you must be the judge, as we were not there).
