Hello i was pregnant lastyear,and they told me i have fibroids after giving birth they ddnt shrink back,now i want to remove them but im not sure what is the procedure and where to fund a doc who can assist with the operation?

"Fibroid" ?'s: Smaller fibroids may not require removal, and sometimes are not incompatible with a normal pregnany. Any OB physician is qualified to remove fibroid tumors, but make sure he/she provides an accurate assessment of the necessity for removal. Removal may also compromise the integrity of the uterus, requiring a Cesarean Section for delivery, so get a second opinion about necessity.
