I've fibroids which i was told , it's like being 5 mnth pregnant.there are on top of the uterus , i want to keep my uterus .what surgery shld i do?thx

Depends: Myomectomy is probably what you are thinking of. It means removal of the fibroids from the uterus. I may be performed with a laparoscope or by a larger incision or laparotomy. Some newer procdures are uterine artery embolization and ex ablate. Ask your doctor for information about all of the above before making hour final decision.
