Good day, i consulted different gynaes and was advised i need to get fibroids removed. i just want to know the know available methods that can be performed for the removal because they said, its a normal operation just like when i give birth.

"Fibroid ?'s": Fibroid surgery can be done by major surgery (open abdomen) or laparoscopic surgery (easier recovery but not all fibroids may be removed this way) or by embolic therapy, which stops the blood supply to fibroid tumors. Unless the fibroids are causing steady bleeding or pain, or infertility, get a second opinion to confirm the need for this kind of treatment.
