A member asked:

Quick, white flashes in vision. comes and goes very fast. sometimes followed by my vertigo, could be a coincidence. i wear contacts. eye strain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

White flashes: These flashes are usually harmless and due to vitreous gel pulling or rubbing the retina. However if these flashes are frequent and occur in bunches and followed by plentiful floaters, it could indicate a serious retinal problem. In this case you must consult an ophthalmologist for evaluation.
