A member asked:

Can a pinch nerve in the neck or crown of skull cause dizziness? strained neck heard a pop doesn't hurt but very annoying. lower back of head tender.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pinched Nerve: A pinched nerve in the neck can cause temporary and limited episodes of dizziness but it shouldn't necessarily persist as long periods of dizziness. There might be something else going on if that is the case, including a diskmpronlem with nerve or vascualr compromise. If the dizziness doesn't clear expeditiously, i would make an appointment to see a neurologist and have it thoroughly checked out.
