Root Canal Therapy: If you have pain or discomfort on that tooth, please see the dentist who treated you. There are no home remedies to treat this sort of issue.

Failed root canal: Abscesses do n to self heal. Symptoms indicate failed root canal. May be due to feature, insufficient canal obturation, a missed canal, failed seal at either end of the canal, and many other reasons. Would suggest reevaluation by a root canal specialist, an Endodontist.
