A member asked:

Would the oral chemotherapy, laradex promote hot flashes and what can help subside them ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Letrozole: Laradex contains letrozole. With this drug, you can expect side effects such as hot flashes, hair loss, joint/bone/muscle pain, tiredness, unusual sweating, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and trouble sleeping. To reduce hot flashes avoid increases in your body's temperature, hot and spicy foods, caffeinated beverages, alcohol and smoking. If they get worse, contact your primary care provider.
