Autoimmune disease: Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease which occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues & organs. Common symptoms include fatigue, fever, joint pain, stiffness, swelling, headaches, confusion & memory loss. There is no cure but treatment to try to control lupus may include over-the-counter NSAIDs, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants & antimalarial drugs. I wish you well!
