Autoimmune treatment: Uusally treatment for each involves the use of steroids, to dampen the effects of the immune system, attacking the body. Each syndrome consists of particular symptoms, which can be individually treated to limit distress from them, such as treating dry eyes in sjorgren's to using various pain medications for the multiple joint pains. Most of the symptoms improve with steroids. See Rheumatology.
