Good day, i was wondering what are my treatment options for water on the knees? my right leg is very swollen and painful its been a few weeks now and it doesnt heal on its own. i wear a knee guard for compression but it doesnt seem to work?

Just a thought..: sometimes people refer to "Water on the knee' for which is actually NOT JOINT SWELLING but is PREPATELLAR BURSITIS.. Withdrawal of the fluid ("water") and an injection of cortisone type drug may treat this quite nicely! Just a thought Dr Z Hope it helps!
