Source of fluid: The question is why fluid is in joint or around joint. Not normal. Obviously running doesn't agree with your knee. Sometimes cartilage or ligament ligament injuries can cause fluid in knee joint.Swollen knee is common problem. Cause of knee swelling can be a challenge.Water on the knee may be result of trauma, overuse injuries, or an underlying disease.To determine cause may tap knee, imaging.
