Er dr. said he didn't see gum abscess but gave me antibiotics. taking them for 24 hours and he never tested for an infection. was this a mistake to take clyndamycin? will see dr. tmrw, will it be bad if i stop after only 24hrs?

Not a mistake: It won't be bad if you stop , continuing till you see your doctor won't be bad too, who may continue the same, stop it or change it to other medications. Many times antibiotics are prescribed based on clinical judgement and no need for testing for an infection, wish you wellness
