Imaging: Neoplastic adenopathy designates usually cancer related lymph node involvement And imaging is only suggestive of the potential cause. The most common cause for lymph node swelling or inflammation remains infection with malignancies or cancers being a significant cause for it, too. Make sure you have a thorough discussion with the ordering physician as to what the next steps are.
