Gingivitis: From your description, you have gingivitis being caused by a buildup of calculus. Calculus is comprised of hardened bacterial colonies which need to be removed professionally by a dentist/hygienist. Failure to do so will slowly cause bone recession and loss of your teeth. Please make an appointment with a local dentist to have your teeth and gingiva evaluated.

Gum disease: You have infected gums. The hard accretions cannot be removed with brushing and flossing alone. The bleeding is a signal that your gums/bone are seriously damaged. See a General Dentist immediately. Referral to a specialist m ay be in order. This is serious, and readily treatable in it's early stages.
