hypothryroidism: After inflammation of the thyroid such as Hashimotos, the thyroid gland sometimes is no longer able to produce adequate hormone, ie, low T4, and the pituitary gland is trying to stimulate it, so mildly elevated TSH. Your values are borderline but you may benefit from thyroid supplement. Make appt with Endo when he returns.
