I've heard horror stories about mirtazapine withdrawal. is it more difficult to withdraw from mirtazapine than other anti-depressents? is it hard to withdraw from than clonazepam?

Not always: Everyone is a little different in how medications effect them. I have never seen it be hard for patients

Remeron: My patients usually taper off of mirtazapine, so I haven't seen any significant discontinuation symptoms. However, a number of patients complain when coming off of clonazepam.
