Probably not: A person with Herpes 1 can give Herpes 1 to another person's mouth or genitals, if the second person does not yet have Herpes 1. Herpes 1 cannot turn into 2, nor vice versa. A person is not immune to Herpes 1 unless she has caught Herpes 1, and likewise, she is not immune to Herpes 2 unless she has caught Herpes 2. That means having Herpes 1 does not protect you against Herpes 2, and vice versa.
