After 2 swabs got diagnosed with hsv1 genitally. i am confused as i have kissed many people, why didn't i get it orally? is dna swab site specific?

Primary infection: Could it be that you get HSV 1 infection of your genitals before being exposed to the virus through kissing. HSV usually stays at the site of primary infection and other areas are more less immune to the virus once you get it in one area. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
