My 4mo baby had a cold in august which went away for a few days. he is sick again but sounds worse. his nose is still congested and his coughing sounds terrible. its a wet barking cough which looks like it hurts and wakes him up and he cries?

Some basics: There are a variety of upper airway infection viruses that can be worrisome in a kid that young. If the kid feeds & sleeps well it is likely minor. If you feel the kids feeds are diminished or difficult & the kid works to breathe or sleep he needs to be evaluated.
